I know I’ve said that a dozen times, and tried to lose weight another dozen, but looking back on older posts, I realize that I slowly but steadily gain weight every year. I don’t want to hit 30 and be one of these fatties that you see at Walt-Mart.

In 2011 I was around 160lbs, then in 212 I dropped to 155lbs. I started a stressful job and that year gained a lot, and jumped to 165lbs. In 2013, I reached an all-time high of 178lbs and that’s when I decided to eat better and exercise. I was able to drop to 163lbs.

In 2014, I got a gym membership and a personal trainer. I started at 173lbs and gave up after 6 weeks because didn’t see a change! I then did my own in-house diet, which let me to drop a few more pounds and stabilize at 167 pounds. Then another stressful event hit me and i started binging and eating all i could find in the house. I reached 180lbs. That’s the most I’ve ever weighted in my whole life. The only good thing is that my problem area (my belly) is still the same size as when I was weighting 10 lbs less.

So I’ve decided to reduce my calorie intake to 1400/day and exercise 3 times week + cardio 2-3 times/week.

I now know that these things that time and I will try to be more patient and let things work out. I would like to go back to around 167 lbs by Christmas (which is my July 2014 weight), and then continue shedding up until I am happy with my looks.

Ever since I cam back from vacation, I let myself go a little bit and gained some weight…i went from 167lbs on June 25th to about 173lbs today. I ate out a lot due to July being a birthday month, and also because it’s way too hot to cook.

I’ve decided it’s time to change for real because this might easily get out-of-hand.

I did not gain any inch on my belly, which is really surprising. I was at 38″ (94-95cm) and I’m still at around that . Last year when I was weighting this same weight of 173lbs my waist was 41″/101cm.

Vacation

I just came back from vacation weighting exactly the same as when I left (167lbs), so I am pretty happy about it I ate a lot of Mediterranean food , but also indulged in a lot of pastries haha

Carbs and proteins

After some online research these are the targets that i need to have in terms of protein and carbs, on a daily basis: 85 g protein/day (340 cal)— 112g-150g carbs/day (450-600cal) —– 790cal-940cal Protein–>.8-1 gram per pound of lean body mass—106lbs is mine Carbs–>30-40 percent of calories x 3.75

After some online research these are the targets that i need to have in terms of protein and carbs, on a daily basis:

results of the week

This whole week has been a nightmare. I went for my weekly check-ins on Monday, and not only did I gain weight, I also gained 2lbs of fat. I was (and still am) freaking out! Seriously after training 5 days a week, and eating better this is the worst that can happen.

Since the beginning of this so-called program I’ve gained about 2.6lbs. I am furious/down/sad/depressed. You name it! I don’t know what to do, I feel like crying and yelling ta the same time.

All I think about is my weight and how I didn’t lose anything. I had a goal of losing at least 15 lbs before my summer vacation at the end of May, and now I am worst off. O M G

Alright, so I just had my weekly measurements taken at the gym today, and I am not sure if I should be happy or freaking out:S

Let me explained: I gained 3 lbs on the gym scale (from one week ago). I gained about 1.5lbs of muscle, and 4 lbs of water. The fat mass went down by 4lbs.

My belly measurements, ass and arm are still the same same same. I don’t feel looser in my clothes at all. In fact in some clothes I feel tighter. I’M FREAKIN FREAKIN FREAKING out!:(

I’ve been told that Independence measurements are never the same even if you take them 1 minute later. So I asked my trainer to take them a second time. My total weight dropped to 174.5lbs. but fat increased to 68.5lbs.  Supposedly the first measurements were right because once electricity pass through your body you can’t take it again the same day. I guess we will see next Monday wtf is going on!

Body Fat Mass: 62.4lbs (down from 66.1lbs)
Dry Lean Mass:30.4lbs (up from 29.1lbs)
Intracellular water 52.5 lbs (up from 48.7lbs)
% Body fat:dropped by 3 %
